Families

A message from our c0-founder/CEO to Atlanta families:

I know how hard it is to raise a black boy in the City of Atlanta.CJ Ambassadors Midst My mother had me at the age of 16 and when we left Grady Hospital our home was in Hollywood Courts in northwest Atlanta. I could tell you what the statistics say, but I know I don’t have to do that. You know them because you are living with them everyday. You know that your sons have a better chance of going to Rice Street than graduating from high school. You know that your sons have a better chance of being involved in gangs than making it to their senior proms.

I’m here as proof that it doesn’t have to be that way.

Through the help of my family, my church, teachers and mentors in the Atlanta community, I was able to access the resources I needed as a child in order to achieve my dreams. Now, I’m blessed to be in a position to provide the same support to your family that people in the Atlanta community provided to mine. I look forward to partnering with you as we turn our City around by once and for all proving that our kids aren’t bad, our kids aren’t dumb – our kids are brilliant, talented human beings who need our help. And I’m here to do all I can to make sure they get what they need so they can be successful – I’m living proof that it can be done.

Sincerely,

C.J. Stewart
