GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Six University of Florida student-athletes will participate in the Spring Southeastern Conference Dallas Career Tour. The three-day virtual event is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 18. The attendees for the Gators will be: Brandon Becar- Football, Becky Browndorf- Lacrosse, Jean Delance-Football, Marlon Dunlap-Football, Alex Farrow- Men's Swimming & Diving and Jazmyn Foberg- Gymnastics.
This marks the sixth consecutive year the Conference has invited student-athletes from each of its institutions to participate in the career tour.
The goal of the career tour is to provide exposure for SEC student-athletes who are seeking career opportunities in various fields. The program allows student-athlete to connect with human resource recruiters and submit resumes for entry-level jobs, internships and gain valuable professional branding knowledge.
The group will meet virtually with executives at several corporations from Texas, including NBA G-League organizations, former Chicago Cubs outfielder and best-selling author CJ Stewart, former SEC Career Tour participants, and many more.
